Bunclody ICA - New members needed

It is 70 years since ICA was started in Bunclody. The guild has always been very active in the parish for all those years. We want to keep that tradition alive. But, due in no small way to Covid 19 and the demographic ageing of our members, we are desperately looking for new members to join our guild. We meet once a month and have a guest speaker. Sometimes have various crafts, etc at our meeting. We also meet once a month for coffee and chat in local restaurant. Sadly, if we do not get new members, we may have to close the guild. If you have 2 hours to spare, once a month, and to keep the guild open, which was kept going by so many wonderful women in the past.

Please phone 087 2805426 or 086 8135587

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK

Jesus seeks reassure his followers in the face of his imminent death. Although he will be leaving them he promises them the gift of the holy spirit. How have you been aware of the gift of the spirit of god in your life. Remember times of separation from a loved one, through change of residence or other Circumstances. How has the love between you been a support after the separation. To his followers Jesus promises we will come and make our home with them. Our God is not a distant God but one who lives in us. What has helped you to be aware of the closeness of God to you. Do not let your heart be troubled or afraid. When you have been anxious, who have been the Jesus people for you who were able to calm your Anxiety. How did they do this. For whom have you been one who calmed anxiety.
