A Lenten Reminder
..for Love from Pope Francis
"Let us put into practice our call to do good to all, and take time
to love the poor and the needy, those abandoned and rejected, those
discriminated against and marginalised" His Holiness Pope Francis, cf.
Fratelli Tutti,193 Far from the media spotlight this Lent, families like
Thandekile’s in Zimbawe are going days without eating, grieving with no
one noticing, and their futures hang in the balance. The message of your
Trócaire Boxes this Lent is that the chance at a better tomorrow
shouldn’t be lost because of forgotten crisis from Covid to poverty to
climate changes that are taking a terrible toll on families worldwide.
Please, if you’re able, return Trócaire Box on Easter Week and let your
love be a lifeline. Or donate on www.trocaire.org or by calling
1800408408 (ROI)/ 08009121200 (NI). Thank you for the light you bring.
